Personal files of a rabbi, political adviser and activist, diplomat, author, lecturer, and television panelist. Also included are retained files of several political committees with which he was associated during the 1940's and 1970's: Emergency Committee to Save the Jewish People of Europe, Political Action Committee for Palestine, National Citizens' Committee for Fairness to the Presidency, President Nixon Justice Fund, and United States Citizens' Congress. -- The Papers include material relating to efforts to save European Jews from the Holocaust, the founding of the State of Israel, the Greek and Armenian patriarchates of Jerusalem, and Watergate. -- Also included are personal papers, 1941-73, of Rabbi Samuel I. Korff (d. 1973), Korff's brother.
